Legal entity

MeshPilot is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Jenesh Patel, based in Chandigarh, India. References to "MeshPilot", "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to this proprietorship, which is the data controller for the information described below.

What we collect

• Account information — name, email address, authentication identifiers, and plan status.
• Product usage — which product you opened, device authorization status, credit consumption, and feature usage events.
• Support information you send us through email or an account support request.
• Payment and billing metadata from our payment provider. We never receive or store full card numbers.

What stays on your machine

MeshConsole is local-first. Your source files, terminal sessions, PTY output, editor buffers, SSH credentials, MeshMemory notes, and workspace layouts live on your own disk. They are not uploaded to us, and we do not index or parse your codebase on our servers.

Some features are hosted by design and do involve our servers: your account and entitlements, the credit ledger, tasks and memory you sync through the hosted MeshMCP endpoint, and prompts you send to Pilot or any other credit-metered AI feature. Those requests pass through our AI gateway so usage can be metered.

Credentials and API keys

Provider API keys, SSH secrets, and CLI agent tokens are stored using the operating system's secure storage where available, encrypted and bound to your device. We do not log them, and they are not transmitted to MeshPilot servers. Your MCP key is scoped to your account — a key minted for one account cannot be adopted by another.

How we use information

• Operate accounts, desktop device authorization, plan entitlements, and product access.
• Run metered AI features and debit the correct number of credits.
• Respond to support, billing, security, and legal requests.
• Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and fix defects.

Sharing and subprocessors

We share information with service providers only as needed to operate authentication, hosting, payment processing, email, and security functions. We do not sell user data and we do not share your project content with advertisers.

Retention and your rights

We retain information only as long as needed for product operation, legal obligations, security, billing records, and support. You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export of applicable account data. Deleting local data — workspaces, memory, session history — is entirely under your control on your own machine.
